Ted is a multimedia artist, studio & equipment builder, and business consultant who has worked in many positions in the music & entertainment industries. He started his music career at 11 making simple sound circuits with his dad in Boy Scouts, and trying to fix any instrument or audio gear he could find at a garage sale. He worked as a carpenters assistant under the table until he was 16, when he became a mechanics assistant for 2 years. He spent several years in the restaurant industry, and briefly attended Mechanical Engineering School, but after he began interning for our Board Chairman James Lefavour (AKA Jimmy) at Atlanta Record Productions he decided to focus on building skills to start his own company in the future. Jimmy helped him get a job as a Rentals Manager at Guitar Center, and then a Repair Tech, while now studying instrument and studio design as an apprentice. He was one of the original managers at the Kennesaw Store when it opened. During his career as a technician and luthier he has repaired over 6,000 pieces of musical equipment, curated dozens of collections, and designed bespoke instruments and audio equipment for studio and touring musicians. Through Jimmy he worked with nearly a dozen different charities for projects and events as well as many local and national musical acts. He went on to be promoted to Director at Atlanta Record Productions, and still consults with them. In 2019 he was commissioned to design and began construction on his first multimedia studio project, and has now worked on over 30 professional studios and music venues across the East Coast including Ndustry Studios, Soul Asylum Studios, and Loudhouse Studios in Atlanta. He is a gear head with a huge passion for music and the art of business.
